Rhodes & Tim Wiltshire on slide
Tim finds most of his instruments, then fixes them up. His house is packed with old garbage guitars, half broken shamisens, skinless banjos. After playing a great lick he gives you a smile, and says "not bad for someone's garbage."
Two weeks before this gig, Roman said to Tim, "I need a koto in this song, Diana," Tim came back the next day with a koto, "got it real cheap at a 2nd hand shop." He said smiling. Within a week he had fixed it up and learned the song on it.
It was a real formal setting, so it was great when a number of people spontaneously started dancing, and got the crowd up and going.
